6. Permission to Pivot

I've been feeling an exciting energy recently that's been taking me in a new direction. Sometime last year, after experiencing an intense bout of resistance to doing things the traditional way, I way gave myself permission to move more deeply into my Human Design experiment and extend it to how I approach my business.
I decided to do things in my business the way I wanted to. When I first started out, it was all about learning the different components that went into being an entrepreneur. Once I got those skills in place, it was time to give myself the freedom to do things my way. I want my business to be something that feels fun and easeful, not like a job I have to do.
When I heard myself saying over and over again, I created this group coaching program and I put all of this time into it, but I'm not feeling all that excited about it, but I don't want my work to go to waste, so I'm just going to make myself do it anyhow...I knew I had to stop and examine it further.
Why was I going to make myself do something I wasn't excited about? What kind of energy was I going to bring if I wasn't really feeling it? Especially since I promised myself I wasn't going to operate from that place.
What was coming through instead sounded way more fun, so I got creative and gave myself permission to pivot. As soon as I did, I noticed a massive wave of fear come over me as I realized that I'd have to grow into the next version of myself to see this vision through. Once I committed to my evolution, it's like the flood gates of creativity opened up and I've gotten so many new ideas that I can't wait to share.
If you're feeling stuck in your business, or life for that matter, I encourage you to look at what aspects are draining you and how you'd like to do things instead. It's your life, you get to decide what you want it to look like and how you want it to feel. This is your permission to pivot.
